More than 300 NFL prospects will take the field this week at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis for the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine.

Over four days, players will perform drills in front of NFL coaches, scouts and executives ahead of April’s NFL Draft.

These football prospects will showcase their athletic abilities while performing in front of coaches, scouts, and more. 

The combine is a four-day event, with punters, kickers, defensive linemen and linebackers participating in on-field workouts at 2 p.m. CT on Thursday. Defensive backs and tight ends have their workouts at 2 p.m. CT Friday, followed by the quarterbacks, wide receivers and running backs at noon Saturday. The offensive linemen wrap up the combine with their workout at 12 p.m. Sunday.

Here’s everything to know about the NFL Combine 2026, including the schedule and how to watch.

When is the NFL Combine 2026?

The NFL Scouting Combine runs Thursday, Feb. 26 through Sunday, March 1 in Indianapolis.

Each day focuses on different groups of position players. Here’s the schedule:

  • Thursday, Feb. 26, 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.:  punters, kickers, defensive linemen, and linebackers 
  • Friday, Feb. 27, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m:  Defensive backs, tight ends
  • Saturday, Feb. 28, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Quarterbacks, wide receivers, running backs
  • Sunday, March 1, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Offensive linemen

Where is the NFL Combine 2026?

The 2026 NFL Combine is being held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, home of the Indianapolis Colts.

The event has been hosted in Indianapolis annually since 1987.

When do quarterbacks throw at NFL combine?

Quarterbacks participate in workouts on Saturday, alongside wide receivers and running backs.

That session includes throwing drills and measurements — often one of the most anticipated portions of the combine.

When is the 40-yard dash?

The 40-yard dash is part of each position group’s on-field workout session:

  • Thursday: DLs, LBs, kickers
  • Friday: DBs, tight ends
  • Saturday: QBs, WRs, RBs
  • Sunday: Offensive linemen

The 40-yard dash is widely considered the marquee drill, measuring straight-line speed.

What drills are at the NFL Scouting Combine?

Players may participate in:

  • 40-yard dash
  • Bench press
  • Vertical jump
  • Broad jump
  • Three-cone drill
  • 20-yard shuttle
  • 60-yard shuttle

Medical exams, team interviews and measurements are also major components of the week.

Who will be at the NFL Combine 2026?

The NFL invited 319 prospects to attend this year’s event. The full list of invitees can be found here.

Texas Longhorns, Texas A&M Aggies in the NFL Combine

Texas A&M set a program record with 13 players sent while Texas football had just seven Longhorns get the invite. Last year, Texas set a program record with 14 players invited to the combine.

  • KC Concepcion, wide receiver
  • Nate Boerkircher, tight end
  • Chase Bisontis, offensive lineman

  • Trey Zuhn III, offensive lineman
  • Cashius Howell, defensive lineman

When is the NFL Draft 2026?

The 2026 NFL Draft will take place from  April 23-April 25 in Pittsburgh.
