‘My Family Is No Longer Safe’ – Nigerian Singer, Adegbodu Twins’ Cries Out As Armed Robbers Invade Home

The second half of the popular music duo, Adegbodu Twins, Kehinde, has cried out online following the attack on his family by armed robbers.

Naija News reports that the latest development comes a few days after the burial of one-half of the music duo, Taiwo Adegbodu.

In a video shared on Instagram, Kehinde disclosed that the incident that happened on Tuesday night, around 9pm, left the family in distress, stressing that the armed robbers carted away his clothes, shoes, phones and gold, among other valuables.

While expressing concerns over the family’s safety, Kehinde noted that he is not in possession of the money donated for his brother’s burial by the burial committee.

Kehinde, who suggested that the robbers might have come for the money donated for his twin brother’s burial, stated that one of the robbers made calls saying, “Kehinde is not at home. We met his wife and his late brother’s wife with their children. We can’t find any money in the house.”

He added, “I wasn’t at home when the incident happened. I was in Osun State when my late twin brother’s wife called me. I had to rush down home because everyone at home was scared and the children were terrified seeing people with guns. Please I don’t have any money with me again. I have used the money donated for Taiwo’s burial and the finishing of our uncompleted building where he was buried.

“And if you’re coming for me for offending you, please forgive me. I’m pleading for forgiveness even though I know that I did not offend anyone. I’m doing this video because my family is no longer safe. I don’t want our name to become popular again for bad news.”

Recall that Taiwo Adegbodu died of a heart attack on March 1 2026, and was buried on March 31.
