Months after Hill Country floods, relief fund still supports grieving families


The Kerr County Flood Relief Fund continues to support Texans months after the July 4, 2025, floods that killed 137 people. Leaders say grief remains widespread because many victims were visiting from outside the Hill Country. The fund, created the morning of the disaster, has raised more than $150 million and distributed $60 million to help families rebuild and access counseling.
