Preliminary 3.6-magnitude earthquake rattles Rancho Palos Verdes, Los Angeles County coastline, USGS says

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, Calif. (KABC) — A preliminary 3.5-magnitude earthquake rattled the Los Angeles County coastline on Sunday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake struck off the coast near Rancho Palos Verdes around 9:40 p.m. at a depth of nearly seven miles.

No damage or injuries were immediately reported.
