Guinness World Record holder, Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo-Okeke of Nigeria, showed endurance and determination to complete a 687KM cycling journey from Enugu to Lagos in Nigeria, after traversing multiple states.
The 16-year-old’s arrival in Lagos State marked a defining moment, as he was received by the Executive Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at Lagos House in Marina, in recognition of both his achievement and the impact of his advocacy.

Driven by a nationwide autism awareness campaign, the journey brought together communities and institutions across his route, amplifying a message of inclusion, ability and opportunity.
Already globally recognised for his Guinness World Record achievement in art, Tagbo-Okeke continues to expand his impact through sport, using endurance as a platform to challenge perceptions and inspire a new generation.
The National Sports Commission (NSC), have already noted the achievement, acknowledging that such feats help put Nigeria on the map for international adventure tourism and elite endurance challenges.
As the world-record holder recovers from this massive physical feat, the achievement stands as a new benchmark for athletes across the continent, proving that the road to greatness often requires going the extra mile.
