Commercial truck ransacked at intersection in Chino, video shows

CHINO, Calif. (KABC) — Two people were arrested after a commercial truck was ransacked as it sat at an intersection in Chino.

The incident unfolded Friday. The Chino Police Department posted a video on social media, which shows a sedan and van positioned in front of and behind the semi-truck.

At one point, a suspect gets out of the van, cuts the trailer lock and steals computer equipment, according to police.

“When confronted, one suspect fled on foot while another fled in a van,” the department said.

Officers tracked down the van as it entered the 60 Freeway and arrested two people. The suspects were only identified as residents of Los Angeles and Cudahy.

The stolen property was valued at $7,000.

Additional details were not available.
